I am going to make a “light” hand turn today and show my latest project–easy teacup gifts three ways.
Bear in mind that I am far from an expert at crafts, although I love them!
I started out with this adorable heart shaped teacup set of six.
You can find this exact set on here on Amazon.
I’m making 3 different types of gifts with these, so I will end up with 2 of each kind–perfect for gift giving!
I love the heart shaped plates!
Teacup Flowers
The first gift is so easy it’s embarrassing! Simply find some small but colorful flowers to plant in the teacups.
I was hoping to use roses but could not find any small enough. This beautiful confetti garden flower is perfect, though.
Any small flower that strikes your fancy will work just fine.
Teacup Candy Gift
Also very simple!
I like to use Hugs and Kisses from Hershey’ s,
but you can use whatever candy appeals to you or the intended recipient.
Teacup Candle Gift
This one required more effort, but even then, it was pretty easy! Here are my supplies:
I found all of these at Michael’s (and used a 40% off coupon!).
Lavender is one of my favorite scents and flowers–
my yard has quite a few lavender plants.
So I used lavender scent and purple coloring to make these beautiful candles:
They smell heavenly! So there you have it–teacups turned into gifts three ways!
I hope you enjoy this simple gift tutorial from
my amazing grace filled life!
